Abstract
Whether you are looking at temporary mooring for MODUs or permanent mooring for production facilities (FPSOs, Semis etc.), operational and market experiences of the past few years have led to accumulative challenges for the deepwater mooring sector. Increasing technical complexity is challenging but market conditions have also demanded as much focus on cost control.

This paper will highlight some of these issues and examine a number of cost and technical options. Download the Technical Paper from Deep Offshore Technology 2011 held in New Orleans.
