 InterMoor's Fourchon, Louisiana yard now has a 3,000,000 lb. WPT-1400 test bed that is operated by Halo. The test bed is 220 ft. long with a stroke of 11 ft. It has a maximum capacity of 1,500 US Tons and a break test capacity of 1,125 US Tons.
Some of the commonly tested items include anchor chain, wire rope slings, blocks, shackles, polyester rope, nylon rope, synthetic rope, wire rope, risers and spreader bars. |
