Offshore Rigger (Morgan City, Louisiana)


Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Put safety first. Begin each task and job duty with safety first in mind
• Work offshore on anchor handling boats and other types of vessels
• Become aware of conditions and objects on deck of vessel before starting work, and at all times, to remain safe
• Travel to work at various locations such as Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela, West Africa, Brazil and other overseas locations
• Work onshore at Fourchon dock or Morgan City yard
• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved
• Assemble and attach rigging to objects to be lifted by crane or other lifting/hoisting devices
• Be aware of weather conditions and recognize hazards prior to any rigging or lift
• Check and inspect slings, mooring ropes, lifting devices and equipment and materials associated with rigging for serviceability, safety and functionality
• Give hand signals to the equipment operator while engaged in hoisting and moving objects in a manner that ensures the safety of workers, equipment and materials
• Carefully establish safe walking paths at all times. Watch placement of feet when walking at all times to avoid slips, trips and falls

Job Requirements:
• Provide copy of current TWIC card
• Prefer copy of current water survival certification (BOSIET or T-HUET)
• Prefer copy of current API Rigging certification
• Prefer copy of current SafeGulf or RigPass
• Minimum of one year recent offshore rigging experience
• Successful completion of physical, drug screen, functional capacity evaluation (FCE), and background check
• Successful completion of offshore rigging written exam
• Ability to obtain passport.  Current passport is preferred.
• Be available with short notice for mobilization to projects
• Work offshore for various durations

Senior Designer (Sr.DesignerUK)


InterMoor Ltd are recruiting a Senior Designer to work within their headquarters in Aberdeen.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost effective drafting / design support service for all InterMoor projects as well as supporting all internal departments.

Dimensions of the Job

List of Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide drafting / design service to the various service groups within the Intermoor organisation
  • Provide assistance in the areas of company software packages and QHSE
  • Provide coaching to other departmental personnel on CAD and other technical job-related systems. Assist with their career development and demonstrate an ability to guide those persons forward to achieve a higher level of industry and job role understanding and greater skill sets.
  • Continually develop knowledge, skills and expertise of Geodetics and co-ordinate systems
  • Act as stand-in for the Drawing Office Manager when required
  • Taking the lead role on seafastening and other company projects, providing CAD, engineering, calculations and technical support as part of a specific project team


Core Competencies

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Min 5 years Design experience within the Oil and Gas sector
  • HND Engineering Qualification as minimum
  • Structural Engineering/Drafting Qualification
  • Experience with designs related to rig moving, mooring systems, seafastening loadout operations and mooring handling support components
  • Proficient in undertaking basic structural calculation checks to confirm suitability, strength etc. of designs without guidance of an Engineer
  • High knowledge level of CAD, AutoCAD 2D and MicroStation Packages
  • Experience of 3D design drawings
  • Knowledgeable of Geodetics and co-ordinate systems
  • Effective/competent MS Office Suite User

Sales and Operations Executive - Singapore (SOE-Sing)


An opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Operations Executive to join the InterMoor team in Singapore. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be wearing a dual hat of assisting with sales and also coordinating operations. You will generate new leads, promote the business and manage inbound enquiries. You will also manage the sales process from setting up hire orders to creating billing, the logistics of mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment, and ensuring all stock and general operational administration is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue through equipment rentals and sales
  • Development of potential and existing client relationships by providing support, information and guidance on InterMoor products and services
  • Own the creation and submission of quotes to clients in a timely manner
  • Compile ITB documentation as required
  • Propose appropriate pricing, based on market and competitor insight, to Commercial Manager
  • Advise revisions to the Equipment Rate card where appropriate based on market developments
  • Respond to Market Survey enquiries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Proactively follow-up on quote submissions to ensure InterMoor are well positioned and can respond to customer needs
  • Source 3rd party equipment when necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Manage the stock of corporate giveaways to ensure there is always sufficient levels
  • Develop an appropriate network of influential industry contacts
  • Liaise with engineering team and operations team to check suitability of client requests and ensure availability of equipment
  • Represent InterMoor at trade exhibitions and events as required
  • Setting up hire orders, sales orders, dispatching jobs and creating billing in Navision.
  • Formulate proforma invoices, stating weights, dimensions and replacement values for equipment being shipped internationally for rental.
  • Produce cargo summaries; stating weights, dimensions and replacement values for equipment being dispatched locally for rental.
  • Compile reports with regards to various forms of equipment inspections carried out by InterMoor staff.
  • Produce hire sheets and job files for rental orders.
  • Work with Operations team to distribute Hire Returns reports.
  • Generate customer on-hire reports and send on a weekly basis so as to show equipment remaining on-hire.
  • Update weekly client spreadsheet stating items on-hire, relevant rig, stand detailing client owned equipment returned or in storage.
  • Maintaining/up-dating of rental equipment stock database, including certification records, communicating with suppliers on certification issues, providing customers with certification when necessary, and working with Operations team during stock-takes to ensure accurate records.
  • Liaise with suppliers to receive required costs for logistics arrangements
  • Liaise with TOLL, freight forwarders, crane operators etc in order to ensure that all equipment is delivered in and a timely and safe manner.
  • To ensure that the best commercial solution is obtained in relation to all logistics.
  • Liaise with project teams regarding client recharges for offshore operations.
  • Liaising with both clients and yard team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returns
  • Compile all 3rd party costs involved in mob/demob of jobs, and issue subsequent bill to customers
  • Create new asset IDs

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software
  • Comprehensive understanding of mooring equipment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the Mooring industry sector preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships with clients and suppliers 
  • Commercial acumen to advise on commercial quotes & tenders and negotiate prices on behalf of InterMoor
  • Good operational and technical experience in logistics, import, export and associated legislation 
  • Experience with NAVISION 
  • Ability to prioritise with good time management 
  • Organised and diligent with good attention to detail to ensure high quality, professional submissions to customers 
  • Proactive approach to dealing with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers 
  • Good degree of perseverance to manage opportunities from start to close 
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken format
