Offshore Rigger (Morgan City, Louisiana)


Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Put safety first. Begin each task and job duty with safety first in mind
• Work offshore on anchor handling boats and other types of vessels
• Become aware of conditions and objects on deck of vessel before starting work, and at all times, to remain safe
• Travel to work at various locations such as Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela, West Africa, Brazil and other overseas locations
• Work onshore at Fourchon dock or Morgan City yard
• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved
• Assemble and attach rigging to objects to be lifted by crane or other lifting/hoisting devices
• Be aware of weather conditions and recognize hazards prior to any rigging or lift
• Check and inspect slings, mooring ropes, lifting devices and equipment and materials associated with rigging for serviceability, safety and functionality
• Give hand signals to the equipment operator while engaged in hoisting and moving objects in a manner that ensures the safety of workers, equipment and materials
• Carefully establish safe walking paths at all times. Watch placement of feet when walking at all times to avoid slips, trips and falls

Job Requirements:
• Provide copy of current TWIC card
• Prefer copy of current water survival certification (BOSIET or T-HUET)
• Prefer copy of current API Rigging certification
• Prefer copy of current SafeGulf or RigPass
• Minimum of one year recent offshore rigging experience
• Successful completion of physical, drug screen, functional capacity evaluation (FCE), and background check
• Successful completion of offshore rigging written exam
• Ability to obtain passport.  Current passport is preferred.
• Be available with short notice for mobilization to projects
• Work offshore for various durations

Project Accountant (PROJACCT)


Job Description

  • To support the Financial Controller in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the Finance department, using the IT systems and reporting structures in place
  • To support other Departments in achieving financial and non-financial objectives using available financial information
  • To provide project support within the InterMoor UK Group, and other intercompany affiliates as required
  • Preparation of Best Guess Revenue Forecast for review by Financial Controller
  • Preparation of monthly Forecast for review by Financial Controller
  • Detailed review of turnover / direct costs by job leading to Accrued Income and WIP journals
  • Work closely with the management accountant to ensure integrity of monthly and annual reporting
  • Ensure sales accruals are cleared out/invoiced on a timely basis
  • Authorisation of bank payments, BACS runs and cheque payments up to agreed limit
  • Analysis of R&D expenditure and appropriate reclassification
  • Assistance in adherence to the month and year end reporting timetables
  • Develop, produce and maintain adequate procedures and controls both within the Finance Department and company in general
  • Develop and maintain Navision financials, including resolving issues for colleagues
  • Process the necessary administrative tasks associated with day to day Finance queries and issues
  • Take the lead in creating project forecasts on a monthly basis, including forecast of project margins
  • Assist and coach managers in updating the monthly forecast to ensure integrity of the submission
  • Submission of monthly forecast data to TM1
  • Analyse forecast and budget variances on a full year basis
  • Create sensitivity analysis on forecast versions when required
  • Preparation of project PO accruals on a monthly basis
  • Detailed review of turnover / direct costs by job leading to Accrued Income and WIP journals
  • Ensure quotes, tenders and projects are being fully captured on Navision
  • Periodic review of sales pipeline to reconcile with Navision input / monthly forecast
  • Assist managers in planning and preparing for the annual budget cycle
  • Take responsibility for Working Together projects and submissions as required
  • Coordinate all entities for Working Together projects when appropriate
  • Ensure Working Together projects are correctly staffed in terms of contract accountants
  • Ensure project milestones are recognised in accordance with the Acteon Revenue Recognition policy


Required Experience

    Professional accounting qualification or working towards CA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent (P)

    Experience of computerised accounting systems (E)

    Strong knowledge of current accounting standards and practices (E)

    Able to demonstrate a proven track record in financial management (P)

    Effective/competent MS Office Suite User (E)

    Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken format (E)

Senior Marine Consultant (Senior Marine Consultant)


Key Functions:

• Act as second in charge to the Marine Manager .
• Supervise and advise the marine team with regards to core business functions.
• Take an active role  in development of Marine Team capabilities.
• Supply Marine Consultancy services to clients, internally and to OPCO’s.
• Assist in the development/creation of tenders and proposals for future works.
• Project Management of rig moves, installation and decommissioning works.
• Develop existing client relationships and other possible client/business avenues.
• Develop/Lead the Marine Assurance/Warranty function within InterMoor.

Desired Qualification/Experience:

• STCW Marine Certificate of Competency as Chief Officer/Master Mariner.
• Management experience either onshore or offshore.
• Marine Warranty and Assurance Experience.
• Project Management Experience ideally with exposure to tendering, financial, scheduling, deliverable creation and logistics functions.
• Offshore rig moving experience either as Towmaster, Marine Rep or Warranty Surveyor.
• Offshore Project experience.
• Proven track record of client interface and management.
